Golf?

A friend of mine called today about sneaking out and playing golf. Normally a great idea, and since I don't get out enough I ALMOST jumped at it. However, I acted just like my blog entry of a few days ago I started talking about the weather. Maybe I am becoming a wimp, or something worse but I can't see any enjoyment in doing anything outside in 100+ degrees.

Not a wimp Tod, not a wimp unless you want to be carted off the course by medics for heat stroke. It was even too hot for the mini's and I to lounge poolside today so we walked the mall w/ the double stroller and took in some shopping. Now I have to prepare to explain my purchases to Mr. Monogram. It seems I've gone a tad overboard even for me, today.

Up here in central Canada it hit 91° today... I actually did skip out on work (too many cocktails last night) and went hiking in the bush with my friend. Sheesh... need ... to ... take ... shower.

Golf was on my mind too, it was funny clicking on your blog to see golf as a subject also. Anyway, Chip usually goes to the driving range or to Par 3, on hot days. They have gallons of ice cold water on hand. Besides what is that towel hanging from your bag for anyway? (I know, to wipe the ball clean) Well at least here in Texas it is to wipe the perspiration from the forehead.

My husband played 9 last Friday afternoon, and I think it broke 90 degrees. He came home so miserable, hot, and tired. Nothing doing today.
