My family owns a spirit store. I thought it would be fun to promote the new Smirnoff with a preppy theme in the store, but it is only being sold in the Northeast right now and I am in the Southeast (AL). Oh, well.
From what I read the ad is geared toward the “upper crust” (pun for tea and cakes) of the East. What is ironic is the south is the mecca for iced tea, why not give us southerners a chance to taste?

Of all mornings, I did not read the WSJ. I bet it got thrown away. Maybe the story is on their website. I cruised over from Preppy Cafe.
