Yes!!!
The heat wave has broken! This morning we are all outside eating breakfast on the terrace; it's so nice I'm still out here typing on the computer. A fun filled day ahead, I hope. Lots of outside time, and the preppy pup needs a lot of attention/ball playing. The big event of the day is dinner over a friend's house tonight.
What to bring? Muffy is of course making something homemade, cupcakes I think. We shall also grab a bottle of wine (something light and fun). The number one thing for me to bring though is a couple cigars. The guys will walk around after dinner with either a nice cold beer, or even better a glass of port and smoke a couple nice cigars. Luckily I have a couple Romeo Y Julieta's left in the humidor. (note to self, time to reach out to cigar contact for restocking)...
Heading back into the house for more java...have a great day!!!

Hey Preppy guy, Pink Cupcakes posted some very chic Ralph Lauren tennis balls on their blog a cuopls days ago. I don't know about you, but my preppy pup (10-1/2 yr old chocolate lab)has her name all over them! Go check them out! I'm off to sign up mini #1 for fall soccer so have a great Saturday!
Preppy Guy, aw the 80’s temp. I remember those. What a wonderful way to enjoy them, you guys are cleaver. I have one question; what is your favorite brand of port? Just today, Chip and I were discussing remodeling our bar. I have been thinking of scaling the choices down, and I was thinking of adding port to the selection. I would appreciate your input on port. Thanks Kiki
Are you a guy or a girl pretending to be a guy?
Oh nice...you caught me. I love eating a big steak while drinking some great red wine; then drinking beer then more wine and the top the evening off with a great Cuban cigar and some Taylor's Port..
I must be a girl. Get a life
For Port, try this web page...

What to have in your home bar is a great idea for a post
Tod, are you reading my mind, LOL. I just want the basics, boozes. Bourbon, whisky, tequila, vodka, rum and maybe port or sherry, but when I go to the liquor store I feel over whelmed by the choices, plus is there really a good blended whisky? Of course in the college years we mostly drank beer, margaritas (read Texan here), bloodies, and G&T. talk about keeping it simple. I am posting my findings on a perfect simple bar later in the week on my blog. Then there is the glassware to consider. Thanks for the port link.
Oh Kiki I've got the perfect glassware I'll post for you. As for Mr. monogram and I, attending university in the south, Beam & Coke is a gameday staple down here!
