Golf rained out

It's another rainy day in New England. The thoughts of early morning golf are washed out, the only hope is we get a break this afternoon and at least hit the driving range....If this keeps up we may need build an ark....

Off To Drink

Yes, the day is finally over and I'm heading to the pub to meet a mate for some drinks. I realize I had a big picture of a G & T the other day, people may start to think I have a drinking problem...no such luck...

Buffett's Billions

Today Warren Buffett announced that he was giving away 85% of his net worth to a few different charities. The bulk of the money, approx. 30 Billion going to the Gates Foundation run buy Bill Gates (Microsoft). It is a great thing to get to a level to help so many people with your donations. Hopefully the foundations will do their best to help all people live better lives.

RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY!!

The forecast is rain from now till, well at least the 4th....so it's what every red blooded American with kids does; off to the aquarium to entertain the troops. It's that or they will tear the house apart...

Of course the movies will be crazy on a day like this. What else can we do to entertain young children during raining weekends???

It's Saturday Night....Time for G&T's

Hello: this is the first post on the preppy guy blog...I'm an average New England guy, married with 2 great kids. Everyone seems to think our fashion is "Preppy"; we think about is as just classic...

I think preppy is timeless, and actually more of a state of mind than a fashion. Many people think that "preppy' is some fashion trend started by A&F or the Gap (actually very UN-preppy places).

I hope to use this blog as a place to rant and rave about Classic (preppy) things, not just some fashion advise.
