Before I began reading blogs just two months ago, I had no concept of my clothes sending a message other than neat and orderly. When did a ribbon headband become a lifestyle choice? Anyway, I am guilty of the popped collar & have been for most of my life -- I don't do it to BE preppy, it's just how I wear a polo shirt - always has been. I also sport my madras shorts & whale belts, proudly, but again, not TRYING to communicate to the world that I am preppy & that signifies something. I agree that Preppy is not a fashion statement, it is a lifestyle -- my clothing is plain, simple, classic -- that holds true in my opinions, as well. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you are truly classy, you refrain from "mocking" people's personal choice of clothing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30207576.post-1156857382028315152006-08-29T08:16:00.000-05:002006-08-29T08:16:00.000-05:00LOL...it seems someone hit a nerve with the radio ...LOL...it seems someone hit a nerve with the radio comments...<BR/>Personally can't stand Howard.
