Hello: this is the first post on the preppy guy blog...I'm an average New England guy, married with 2 great kids. Everyone seems to think our fashion is "Preppy"; we think about is as just classic...
I think preppy is timeless, and actually more of a state of mind than a fashion. Many people think that "preppy' is some fashion trend started by A&F or the Gap (actually very UN-preppy places).
I hope to use this blog as a place to rant and rave about Classic (preppy) things, not just some fashion advise.

a&f is definitely one of the least preppy places available; flashy and trendy are two words i'd use to describe this customer service-impaired retail disappointment. this blog is a great idea, though- keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback. I really think A & F is a place only teenie boppers who have no fashion sence should shop at.
What a great idea.. a must have list!! hopefully we can get lots of suggestions
